About

Research in Vestibular Science (Res Vestib Sci, RVS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal in medicine, the official publication of the Korean Balance Society. It was first published in 2002 and was published biannually per year until 2009, the quarterly publication since 2010. The journal aims to publish articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in vestibular science, catering to the needs of neurotologists, neurologists, otologists, vestibular scientists, and related fields.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal should focus on contemporary insights, ethical research practices, and clinically relevant information in the field of vestibular science, providing valuable insights for neurotologists, neurologists, otologists, vestibular scientists, or related professionals. RVS publishes original articles, review articles, case reports, brief communications, video reports, images, and letters to the editor. Authors are encouraged to seek permission from the Editorial Committee before submitting review articles. Case reports are considered for publication only when they are unique and illustrative. All manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review to ensure high quality and integrity of the published content.

While RVS primarily focuses on research and developments within Korea, it also welcomes submissions from researchers worldwide, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange on a global scale.

Publication Schedule:
RVS is published quarterly on the 15th day of March, June, September, and December.
